Amiram Shachar is a Co-Founder and CEO of Upwind, where he leads the organization in building an industry-leading cloud security platform. Shachar led Upwind in raising $80 million in its seed round, with enterprise and commercial customers across the globe.

Prior to co-founding Upwind, Shachar founded and led Spot.io, the world’s leading cloud optimization organization, which was sold to NetApp for $450 million in 2020. Shachar also served in the Israeli military’s prestigious Mamram unit, where he was a team leader.
